“What If Rahu & Ketu Seen Occupying Same Sign” - An article written by Vishal Aksh

This is practically impossible since both of them remain 180° apart in each and every system prevailing in this world or even if you follow a tropical or sidereal system. Vedic jyotish is sidereal in nature as its predictive part is concerned and tropical as its mathematical portion is concerned.

If you are looking at a horoscope erected tropically then it can be said that the occurrence of Rahu & Ketu means a wrong tropical horoscope.

The occurrence of Rahu & Ketu in a sign is possible only in Vedic jyotish. I know this will be shocking news for few Vedic astrologers who are unaware of Vedic jyotish in the proper sense.

So whenever you find the conjunction of Rahu & Ketu in the same sign in a complete Vedic horoscope then it will indicate the following:

  1. You are observing either a traditional or cyclic hora chart symbolized nowadays as traditional D2 or cyclic D2 respectively. Both of the charts are used to know financial prospects.
  2. You are judging shasthansh chart symbolized as D6 and it is used to study health & diseases.
  3. You are looking at ashthmansh chart symbolized as D8 which is used to judge span of life and other dreadful diseases.
  4. You are seeing shodashansh chart symbolized as D16. This chart wonderfully explains all your assets including luxuries & enjoyments.
  5. In front of you is a vinshansh chart symbolized as D20 which is used to judge spiritual prospects.
  6. You are trying to communicate with a siddhansh chart symbolized as D24 which is used to study academic attainments.
  7. You are before a traditional trinshansh chart symbolized as traditional D30 or a cyclic trinshansh chart symbolized as cyclic D30. Both of the charts are used to study miseries and diseases.
  8. You are in a mood to understand khavedansh chart symbolized as D40 which is used to know auspicious and inauspicious karmas.
  9. The chart before you can be akshvedansh chart symbolized as D45 which is used to examine every prospect of one’s life.

You will see the occupancies of Rahu & Ketu in all the Vedic charts mentioned above and you will be surprised at this disposition provided you are a beginner or unknowingly examine the chart having it without seeing its title or in a hurry.

But if in a rashi chart symbolized as D1 you see Rahu & Ketu occupying the same sign or even different sign other than the seventh sign apart it should be confirmed that the Vedic horoscope brought before you is wrong.

  2. All of the physical efforts done by him prove fruitless and he has a very little value in the eyes of others. His self-motivated approaches are easily recognized and this brings his devaluation.

This position supports adhyatma but the native may be heretic. It should be noted that a nastik or heretic can be adhyatmik but he doesn’t believe in the concept of parmatma given in Vedas.
  2. The native is untruthful and a cheat and wanders in the circle of unfair people.
  3. All the efforts made by the native to make him great fail miserably. His speaking style is highly unfair.

“Sun & Ketu Conjunction” - An article written by Vishal Aksh

In my opinion, answers to such questions can be given well on the basis of Vedic jyotish. Here let me make it clear that the North node mentioned in western astrology is called Rahu in jyotish and South node is called Ketu, so in this article, only Rahu and Ketu will be used in place of North node and South node respectively.

To understand this kind of curiosity, it is necessary to understand the story of the Vedic creation described in the Shiva Purana. which is as follows:

At the beginning of creation, there was a dispute between Brahma and Vishnu regarding superiority. Then a linga appeared, whose neither beginning nor end was visible, so it was decided that Brahma would find the beginning of the linga and Vishnu would find the end and the one who would come back after completing his mission first would be the winner. According to Shiva Purana, that divine linga extended till Arda nakshatra. Both Brahma and Vishnu were unable to know the beginning & end of that linga.

Source: Shiv Purana

It is clear from the above legend that the Vedic universe extends up to Ardra nakshatra and because Rahu is the ruling planet of Ardra nakshatra, therefore one end of the Vedic universe becomes Rahu and the other end becomes Ketu.

In Vedic literature, the sun is considered as the soul. Whenever Rahu is in the seventh house from the Sun, it clearly means that there will be a conjunction between Sun and Ketu. In a clear sense, the soul indicated by Sun will meet at the beginning of the universe indicated by Ketu. The nature of Ketu is to go into the depths and rise up like a flag, so this conjunction of Sun and Ketu shows enlightenment and theoretically this conjunction shows the prohibition of the soul coming into the earth, which clearly means freedom from the cycle of rebirth.

This combination shows not only sacrifice but also dedication. The basic meaning of sacrifice here is the suppression of all kinds of negativity, greed, hatred, attachment and desires that arise in the mind and heart.

This conjunction of Sun and Ketu can be found in the birth charts of great saints. Here I want to say one more thing specifically that the conjunction of Sun & Rahu can also make anyone a great saint, but cannot end the cycle of rebirth theoretically.

Therefore the conjunction of Sun and Ketu makes a person spiritual and explains this great Vedic law that whatever is present within me is equally in other living beings also. If I feel Brahm within me, then that Brahm is also within you.
