“Bhadrika Yogini Dasha” - An article written by Vishal Aksh

 

According to Mansagri the following results occur in Bhadrika Dasha:

 

√ Cordiality among kinsman, devotion towards guru and increase of the faith in parmatma. 

√ Regards from friends. 

√ Auspicious celebrations at home. 

√ Mind always engrossed in the best business. 

√ Rajya yoga. 

√ Enjoyments, fun & joy in the company of various beautiful damsels. 

√ There will be welfare of the native too.

 Note: All the aforesaid results are general but effective.

 

Almost every astrologer will say that nakshatras Bharni, Magha, Jyeshta and Uttarbhadrapada are ruled by Venus, Ketu, Mercury and Saturn respectively but it is not so in case of Yogini dasha. You will be surprised to know that all the four nakshatras written in this paragraph are ruled by Mercury’s Yogini Bhadrika.

 A closer look at these four nakshatras revels that Bharni is a malefic nakshatra that comes under the rulership of Vedic devta Yama and Magha & Jyestha are malefic Mool sanjyaka nakshatras so the benefic yogini Bhadrika ruled by Mercury is the ruler of three malefic nakshatra ruled by it out of four nakshatras.

 While predicting Bhadrika yogini dasha following guidelines, based on my experience & research in the field of Vedic jyotish for more than three decades, must be followed:

 

√ If Bharini nakshatra is occupied by a natural malefic planet, maraka planet, malefic upagraha such as Gulika, Maandi, Mrityu, Kalvela, Parivesh or Upaketu etc., badhaka planet or a planet ruling the third, fifth or seventh nakshatra from the birth nakshatra then this Bhadrika yogini will give adverse results regarding health.

 √ If Magha nakshatra is occupied by a planet forming dhana yoga, sampatti yoga or rajyoga then the native will get wealth, sampatti or rajyoga on account of the grace of his parents or forefathers in the Bhadrika yogini dasha.

 √ If Jyestha nakshatra is occupied by a well disposed Mars or Sun, a well disposed third lord or a well disposed tenth lord then the native gets exaltation, courage and professional success in Bhadrika yogini dasha.

 √ Anyone of the Bhadrika’s nakshatras if occupied by the planet ruling the nakshatras other than the rulers of third, fifth or seventh nakshatra from the birth nakshatra then Bhadrika yogini gives auspicious results. 

 √ Anyone of the Bhadrika’s nakshatras if occupied by the planet ruling the third, fifth or seventh nakshatra then Bhadrika yogini gives adverse results regarding health. 

 √ Anyone of the Bhadrika’s nakshatras if occupied by the badhaka planet gives obstacles in profession, health problems and some unknown troubles.

 √ If any nakshatra owned by Bhadrika is occupied by a well disposed Sun, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu or Ketu then the Bhadrika yogini dasha will increase highness, strength, behavioral approaches, inner joy, abilities to introspect, materialistic approaches or spiritual approaches respectively.

 √ The nakshatra occupants of Bhadrika also display their results, according to their positions in varga charts, in Bhadrika dasha. This is also very important to understand.

 √ In any good vinshottri dasha if Bhadrika yogini starts and ends then almost the entire period of Bhadrika will prove prosperous & memorable even if the Bhadrika’s nakshatras are unoccupied.

“Which Is The House Of Father In A Horoscope” - An article written by Vishal Aksh

 

Indian astrology is unanimous, showing the fourth house as the mother's house, but with respect to the father, it appears to be divided into two parts. Some scholars consider the ninth house and some scholars the tenth house as the house of the father. This dispute between the ninth and tenth houses has been going on for centuries till now.

According to Dr. B.V. Raman, the greatest Vedic astrologer of the modern world, only the ninth house of the birth chart should be considered as the house of the father. According to him, the Vedic sage Parashara has directed so.

There was a time when South Indian astrologers considered the ninth house and North Indian astrologers considered the tenth house as the house of father, but now as a result of the increasing influence of South Indian astrologers, almost everywhere, the ninth house of the birth chart is being considered as the house of father.

Generally, the age of the native is more than thirty years, when he presents his birth chart to a qualified astrologer to know about the father. By that time his father generally gets retired. Then the question of that person is only about his father's health.

Imagine that a malefic planet is present in the third house in the birth chart of that person and the antardasha of the same malefic planet is also going on. The astrologer asks the native whether his father's disease has started after the beginning of the antardasha of that malefic planet and That distressed native confirms.

If that astrologer is North Indian then his assessment would be as follows:

The third house is the sixth house when counted from the tenth house, which shows the disease of the father of that person and the presence of the malefic planet there in its antardasha afflicts his father’s health.

If the astrologer is South Indian then his assessment should be something like this:

The third house of the native's birth chart is seventh house when  counted from the ninth house and the seventh house is maraka for the father of that person so the malefic planet present in this house gives disease to the father of that native.

So you see almost the same analysis about the wellbeing of one’s father will be done if you consider ninth house or tenth house as a house of father in a native’s horoscope.

Nowadays, astrologers are often seen giving foolish arguments in favor of the ninth house, but till now no one has made a factual discussion to resolve the dispute of the ninth or tenth house.

If you look at the society, you will know that most of the people seem to be following their fathers, so all the actions performed by them will be affected by the ideologies of their fathers because the tenth house is the house of karma.

Ninth house indicates dharma and guru and the Sanskrit word guru has wider scope to say. Parmatma Shiva is the ultimate guru of anant koti brhnandas so starting from Parmatma to an Acharya all are termed as guru in Vedic literature. The parents are also treated as gurus so on that grounds father also seems to be indicated by ninth house but the mother is supposed to be the first guru for her child so it will be injustice not to consider her as represented by the ninth house so I think all the learned astrologer will think over this.

In Vedic era the academy was considered as an integral part of life and to get that everyone was supposed to get the academy in an institute known as gurukula. In gurukula the acharya or teacher acted as a father figure and the diksha or the secret mantra given by acharya was treated as the mother figure for every shishya or student. So both diksha as well as acharya were accepted as mother and father in the entire academic session in every Vedic gurukula. If you know Vedic jyotish then you will easily understand that both deeksha as well acharya are indicated by the ninth house. Deeksha is an abstract with no human identity so its human form is taken as the form of acharya and that is why the acharya was considered as mother & father for every student in a Vedic gurukula. This Vedic thought does not appear recommending the ninth as the house of the biological father.

A valuable comparison of prides of upadhyaya, acharya, father and mother has been given in Vedic literature and the summary of that has been given below:

The one who teaches Veidic vidya for livelihood is an upadhyaya and he is honorable. But the pride of an acharya is ten times more than that of upadhyaya. The pride of father is thousand times more than that of Upadhyaya and hundred times more than that of acharya and the pride of mother is ten lakhs more than upadhyaya, one lakh times that of acharya and thousand times more than that of father.

So from above it is evident that the status of father is one thousand times more than that of acharya and the status of mother is one lakh times more than that of an acharya. There is no dispute or controversy that the fourth house signifies mother and the ninth house signifies acharya. The fourth house is one of the kendra houses and Moon the significator of mother gets directional strength in this fourth house and the ninth house signifying an acharya is one of the apoklima houses. In Vedic jyotish a kendra house is always stronger than an apoklima house so the valuation of the father doesn’t seem satisfying the ninth house. Which clearly means that the status of the father is also satisfied in a kendra house like that of the mother.

Vedic jyotish is based on common sense and Vedic knowledge. In this modern world too the parents always tolerate the unfair behavior of their child up to any extent whereas a teacher tolerates the unfair behavior of a student up to a limit and exceeding of which his recommendations would be to expel that student from the teaching institute and this expelling of a student on his misconduct comes under dharma indicated by the ninth house. These types of episodes are always seen occurring globally and in terms of jyotish they disfavor the ninth house to be the house of father.

Vedic muni Parashara taught his promising student Maitriya a Sanskrit shloka concerning the ninth house which is given below:

Navamepi piturgyanam Suryach navamethava

Yatkinchiddashme labhe tatsuryaddashme Shive.

The sentence ‘Navamepi piturgyanam’ existing in aforesaid Sanskrit shloka means that the wellbeing of the father should also be judged from the ninth house. The existence of the word ‘also’ in the sentence clearly indicates that there must be a different specific shloka dealing with the allotment of the house of the father in the birth chart.    

The aforesaid Sanskrit shloka is a part of the chapter titling Bhavasangya so this shloka is not a part of the chapter Dwadashbhavnirikshnam or the inspection of twelve houses. The Sanskrit word Bhavsangya means nomenclature of houses. If a Sanskrit shloka concerning father appears in the chapter titling Dwadashbhavnirikshnam then that should be given importance.

The following Sanskrit shloka appears in the chapter Dwadashbhavnirikshnam:

Rajyam chakashvriti ch manam chaiv pitustatha

Pravasasya rinasyapi Vyomsthananirikshnam

The Sanskrit word ‘Vyomsthananirikshnam’ existing aforesaid shloka means Vyom’s house or sky’s house or the tenth house and the Sanskrit word ‘pitu’ existing in ‘pitustatha’means the father. So according to this Sanskrit shloka all about the father should be judged from the Vyomsthana or the tenth house. This Sanskrit shloka gives a strong validity to allot the tenth as the house of father.

Jyotish is ancient but the Vedic jyotish is a modern concept in which an astrologer traces the roots of jyotish in Vedas and all its literature. Any rule of jyotish if found in agreement with Vedic knowledge gets its validation. 

The following is the Rigvedic mantra concerning the mother, father, Prithvi or earth and Vyoma or sky:

Madhuno Dyava Prithvi Mimikshitam Madhushruchuta Madhu Dudhe

Madhuvrate. Dyoscha Prithvi ch pinvatam Pita Mata.

Source: Mantra: 6.70.5 - 6, Rigveda.

The Sanskrit word Prithvi existing in aforesaid Vedic mantra means the earth and Dyo stands for Vyoma or sky. The line ‘Dyoscha Prithvi ch pinvatam Pita Mata’ clearly indicates that the sky is the father and the earth is the mother for all human beings.

In the first shloka Vedic muni called the house of father as Navam or the ninth house but while allotting the tenth house to father the great muni Parashara called the tenth house as Vyomsthana in the second shloka which means that he also directed us to follow the Rigvedic view about father.

In Vedic jyotish bhumi or land etc is judged from the fourth house and this fourth house also stands for the mother and the tenth house or Vyomsthana stands for the father only.

"The Other Prospects Of Vedic Astrology" - an article written by Vishal Aksh

In ancient books on Vedic Jyotish it is written that when a person intending to know about his bhagya approaches to an astrologer then the auspicious and inauspicious Daiva (past karma) about that person approaching to an Astrologer appears in the heart of astrologer. So these things have several hidden factors and those should not be discussed openly and that is why in ancient books on Vedic Jyotish the astrologers are advised to do mantrajapa and other good practices to keep him of satvik mana or pure mind.

In prediction the role of natal horoscope is only about 40% there are many other factors and they should not be discussed openly but for the benefit of all I am writing few of them

(1) Lakshana are very much useful to check the ruling strength of influential planet e.g if a person approaches to an astrologer on Thursday wearing yellow cloths and that person is ignorant about astrology then it is a Lakshana and it indicates about the strength of Jupiter ruling on him at that moment for example if in his horoscope the dahsa of any planet and the antar of some planet but prytantar of Jupiter is going on or about to commence shortly then the position of Jupiter in his horoscope becomes significant and this is one use

(2) The Ank Kundli is of very much importance and many times it alone is sufficient to predict but very few astrologer know about the cast of this type of horoscope. In this process a puja is to be performed by astrologer and then a numeric figures are calculated by the power of mantrajapa of astrologer and then those numeric figure is tranformed into corresponding Lagna and that Lagna acts as equivalent Lagna of that person approached to astrologer to know about his future and the time at which that lagna rises on that day with actual degrees minutes and seconds is taken as the time of that person approached an astrologer and horoscope cast at that time acts as equivalent horoscope of the person approaching to an astrologer. 

In this process the Lagna comes out to be from the transformation of numbers into the corresponding degrees minutes seconds of equivalent lagna so it is highly accurate and the higher order divisional charts such as D45, D60 and D150 can be accurately cast and analysed. How to erect and analyse Ank Kundili that is my research.

(3) It is practically impossible to get the accurate time of any person and there are several process of rectifications are described in ancient books on Vedic Jyotish but all the processes have their own limitations and Swarodya methods of breath inhaling and exhaling are also useful

(4) There are other systems too and those can not be discussed openly. Reading of books on medical does not make one doctor similarly reading books on astrology never makes one astrologers. In modern books on Vedic Jyotish the writer never opens his methods and he writes his book in a puzzle format so that what he knows will not be understood by others. 

The ancient books on Vedic Jyotish are written in a coded form and this can be decoded by mantrajapa and leading a well disciplined and simple life by an astrologer.

"Is It Possible To Get Depth Of Jyotish Without Gurumantra?" - an article written by Vishal Aksh

One of my brilliant facebook student once queried in my Whatsapp group (Now deactivated) about the possibility of getting depth of Jyotish Vidya without reciting the secret mantra provided by a Guru or if Guru does not provide any mantra.

The answer of this question is clear but for that it is essential to understand the meaning of Jyotish, Guru and Mantra. 

(i) The word Jyotish indicates encyclopedic knowledge about divine light 

(ii) The word Guru indicates a physical or non physical agency bringing one from tamsik darkness to satvik light and 

(iii) Mantra is the wordings of that Guru.

 If you are approaching an astrologer then here are some tips for you:

(1) If that astrologer try his best to divert your attention to your birth time rectification then be sure either he is having less than 20 years of experience or he is trying to take extra charges for that.

(2) If the astrologer talks about Navansh or 64^th Navansh (D9) then be sure he is at the beginning stage of Vedic Jyotish. Same applies to his talking about 22^nd Drashkand (D3).    

(3) If the astrologer speaks about Kaal Sarpa Yoga present in your horoscope then that astrologer have no knowledge of Jyotish and he only wants to make money. 

(4) Just think it seriously

“If You Are Going To Teach Vedic Jyotish” – an article written by Vishal Aksh

(1) This article written by me is for all the astrologers planning to teach Vedic Jyotish on professional basis.

(2) Astrologer / Astrologers planning to do so should self analysis about himself by considering the followings points:

(2.1) Are you able to predict about yourself by analysis your own horoscope or through Horary Horoscope? If yes then it reflects either you have more than 20 years of honest experience in the field of Vedic Jyotish or you are a gifted person.

(2.2) If you don’t have that as written under (2.1) then it reflects you are simply an author writing on Jyotish or you did not do serious efforts to understand horoscopes. A writer can write better on Jyotish than a well versed astrologer.

(2.3) Can you predict correctly merely on the basis of Rashi Chart and Chalit Chakra. If yes it indicates that you have one of those internal qualifications to teach Jyotish.

(2.4) Can you make effective use of Divisional Charts like Bhansh (Nakshatranash, Saptvinshansh or D27), Siddhansh Chart (Chaturvinshansh or D24), Vinshansh Chart (D20) and Panchmansh Chart (Cyclic D5) while making correct predictions. If yes then you have instincts to transform eternal knowledge into Vidya and this is welcoming.

(2.5) Do you have effective Guru Yoga in your horoscope? If yes then you are blessed.

(2.6) Have you created any divisional chart through your honest and serious experience? If yes only then you have insights to understand and explain other Divisional Charts.

(2.7) Can you put Chatturthansh Chart (D4) into use by leaving aside its use as kitchen topic? If no then let me tell you this Chaturthansh Chart (D4) is also known as Turyansh and without doing Sadhnas or Japa no astrologer can understand its proper use.

(2.8) Can you make effective use of Sandhya Dasha, Yogini Dasha, Kaal Chakra Dasha in making correct predictions? If yes then you can give a lot to your students.

(2.9) Have you invented your own Dasha System? If yes then go ahead and teach Jyotish.

(2.10) Do you know how to make use of Dasha or Antardasha commencement Horoscopes? If you do that you can do teaching.

(3) If you only use the Shaastra’s Quotes in your teaching or made your basis on that grounds on social sites then your jump into astrological teaching profession will spoil the career of students taught by you even though your prediction generally come into being and this is very important to understand. For correct prediction no Jyotish use is required as people having no knowledge of Jyotish also predict correctly if they have Vaak Siddhi, an active Trteey Netra or any Tamsik Siddhi.

(4) Do you have an ability to relate Vedic philosophy with predictive techniques? If no then you cannot be able to teach your students about how to do predictions.

Every learner & researcher of Vedic Jyotish should note

(1) Avoid participation in Jyotish, astrological or any mystical seminars if you do so then it will affect your predictive mechanism developed by you adversely.

(2) If you predict about yourself correctly only then you can think for attending such seminars.

(3) Writing philosophical posts on Jyotish / astrology can not make you an astrologer so it is better to write a descent article about the fulfilled predictions you made and it will give you more confidence and clarity.

(4) If you have activated Treetya Netra (Third Eye) in your horoscope then be sure you have predictive abilities and even you can predict about yourself correctly.
