“The Twelve Houses Of Dashmansh” - An article written by Vishal Aksh

While predicting on the basis of Vedic jyotish the dashmansh chart is used to judge karmphala. The Sanskrit word karmphala indicates a wider meaning but nowadays the dashmansh chart is used to judge profession mainly.

Few learned astrologers may have doubts about the concept of house division in a divisional chart like dashmansh which is an imaginary one or not a real map like a rashi chart. But before writing further let me clear it first that in shadvarga and saptvarga this dashmansh chart doesn’t exist but it exists in dashvarga and shodashvarga.

In short I want to share that the rashi chart, the real one, also comes under divisional charts so if it possesses houses then there is no harm in allotting twelve houses to a dashmansh chart. Rashi chart the very first divisional chart in Vedic jyotish was meant for the judgment about the deha or physical body but it is now being used to judge all event including finance, mental disposition, relatives and other valuable things so this dashmansh chart also needs expansion in its area of applications.

The judgment of the profession is not an easy way merely on the basis of dashmansh chart alone but in the forthcoming paragraphs few simple but effective information are being provided to understand the twelve houses in a dashmansh chart.

The first house of a dashmansh chart indicates professions that include the self mainly such as self employment, health department, police department and gym etc. So natives having a strong first house in dashmansh chart may have his employment in these areas as described in this paragraph in general.

Important notes to follow:

  1. If the tenth lord of the rashi chart or chalit chakra occupies the first house of the concerned dashmansh chart then the native may have a profession similar to that described under the first house of a dashmansh chart.

  2. If the first lord of the rashi chart occupies the tenth house in the dashmansh chart then the native may have the employment coming under the first house of the dashmansh chart.

  3. If the first house of a dashmansh chart contains the planet or planets occupying tenth house in the rashi chart or chalit chart then the native may have a profession suited to the first house in the dashmansh chart.

  4. If the planet occupying the first house in the rashi chart or chalit chart occupies the tenth house of the dashmansh chart then native’s employment may be in one of the fields of employment as indicated by the first house of the dashmansh chart.

  5. If in a dashmansh chart the lord of the first house occupies the tenth house or vice versa then also the native may have a profession already written for as the profession of first house of the dashmansh chart.

“Which Is The House Of Father In A Horoscope” - An article written by Vishal Aksh

Indian astrology is unanimous, showing the fourth house as the mother's house, but with respect to the father, it appears to be divided into two parts. Some scholars consider the ninth house and some scholars the tenth house as the house of the father. This dispute between the ninth and tenth houses has been going on for centuries till now.

According to Dr. B.V. Raman, the greatest Vedic astrologer of the modern world, only the ninth house of the birth chart should be considered as the house of the father. According to him, the Vedic sage Parashara has directed so.

There was a time when South Indian astrologers considered the ninth house and North Indian astrologers considered the tenth house as the house of father, but now as a result of the increasing influence of South Indian astrologers, almost everywhere, the ninth house of the birth chart is being considered as the house of father.

Generally, the age of the native is more than thirty years, when he presents his birth chart to a qualified astrologer to know about the father. By that time his father generally gets retired. Then the question of that person is only about his father's health.

Imagine that a malefic planet is present in the third house in the birth chart of that person and the antardasha of the same malefic planet is also going on. The astrologer asks the native whether his father's disease has started after the beginning of the antardasha of that malefic planet and That distressed native confirms.

If that astrologer is North Indian then his assessment would be as follows:

The third house is the sixth house when counted from the tenth house, which shows the disease of the father of that person and the presence of the malefic planet there in its antardasha afflicts his father’s health.

If the astrologer is South Indian then his assessment should be something like this:

The third house of the native's birth chart is seventh house when  counted from the ninth house and the seventh house is maraka for the father of that person so the malefic planet present in this house gives disease to the father of that native.

So you see almost the same analysis about the wellbeing of one’s father will be done if you consider ninth house or tenth house as a house of father in a native’s horoscope.

Nowadays, astrologers are often seen giving foolish arguments in favor of the ninth house, but till now no one has made a factual discussion to resolve the dispute of the ninth or tenth house.

If you look at the society, you will know that most of the people seem to be following their fathers, so all the actions performed by them will be affected by the ideologies of their fathers because the tenth house is the house of karma.

Ninth house indicates dharma and guru and the Sanskrit word guru has wider scope to say. Parmatma Shiva is the ultimate guru of anant koti brhnandas so starting from Parmatma to an Acharya all are termed as guru in Vedic literature. The parents are also treated as gurus so on that grounds father also seems to be indicated by ninth house but the mother is supposed to be the first guru for her child so it will be injustice not to consider her as represented by the ninth house so I think all the learned astrologer will think over this.

In Vedic era the academy was considered as an integral part of life and to get that everyone was supposed to get the academy in an institute known as gurukula. In gurukula the acharya or teacher acted as a father figure and the diksha or the secret mantra given by acharya was treated as the mother figure for every shishya or student. So both diksha as well as acharya were accepted as mother and father in the entire academic session in every Vedic gurukula. If you know Vedic jyotish then you will easily understand that both deeksha as well acharya are indicated by the ninth house. Deeksha is an abstract with no human identity so its human form is taken as the form of acharya and that is why the acharya was considered as mother & father for every student in a Vedic gurukula. This Vedic thought does not appear recommending the ninth as the house of the biological father.

A valuable comparison of prides of upadhyaya, acharya, father and mother has been given in Vedic literature and the summary of that has been given below:

The one who teaches Veidic vidya for livelihood is an upadhyaya and he is honorable. But the pride of an acharya is ten times more than that of upadhyaya. The pride of father is thousand times more than that of Upadhyaya and hundred times more than that of acharya and the pride of mother is ten lakhs more than upadhyaya, one lakh times that of acharya and thousand times more than that of father.

Source: Bhavishya Purana

So from above it is evident that the status of father is one thousand times more than that of acharya and the status of mother is one lakh times more than that of an acharya. There is no dispute or controversy that the fourth house signifies mother and the ninth house signifies acharya. The fourth house is one of the kendra houses and Moon the significator of mother gets directional strength in this fourth house and the ninth house signifying an acharya is one of the apoklima houses. In Vedic jyotish a kendra house is always stronger than an apoklima house so the valuation of the father doesn’t seem satisfying the ninth house. Which clearly means that the status of the father is also satisfied in a kendra house like that of the mother.

Vedic jyotish is based on common sense and Vedic knowledge. In this modern world too the parents always tolerate the unfair behavior of their child up to any extent whereas a teacher tolerates the unfair behavior of a student up to a limit and exceeding of which his recommendations would be to expel that student from the teaching institute and this expelling of a student on his misconduct comes under dharma indicated by the ninth house. These types of episodes are always seen occurring globally and in terms of jyotish they disfavor the ninth house to be the house of father.

Vedic muni Parashara taught his promising student Maitriya a Sanskrit shloka concerning the ninth house which is given below:

Navamepi piturgyanam Suryach navamethava

Yatkinchiddashme labhe tatsuryaddashme Shive.

Source: Shloka: 141, chapter: Bhavasangya of Brihit Parashara Hora Shastram

The sentence ‘Navamepi piturgyanam’ existing in aforesaid Sanskrit shloka means that the wellbeing of the father should also be judged from the ninth house. The existence of the word ‘also’ in the sentence clearly indicates that there must be a different specific shloka dealing with the allotment of the house of the father in the birth chart.

The aforesaid Sanskrit shloka is a part of the chapter titling Bhavasangya so this shloka is not a part of the chapter Dwadashbhavnirikshnam or the inspection of twelve houses. The Sanskrit word Bhavsangya means nomenclature of houses. If a Sanskrit shloka concerning father appears in the chapter titling Dwadashbhavnirikshnam then that should be given importance.

The following Sanskrit shloka appears in the chapter Dwadashbhavnirikshnam:

Rajyam chakashvriti ch manam chaiv pitustatha

Pravasasya rinasyapi Vyomsthananirikshnam

Source: Shloka: 10, chapter: Dwadashbhavnirikshnam of Brihit Parashara Hora Shastram

The Sanskrit word ‘Vyomsthananirikshnam’ existing aforesaid shloka means Vyom’s house or sky’s house or the tenth house and the Sanskrit word ‘pitu’ existing inpitustatha’means the father. So according to this Sanskrit shloka all about the father should be judged from the Vyomsthana or the tenth house. This Sanskrit shloka gives a strong validity to allot the tenth as the house of father.

Jyotish is ancient but the Vedic jyotish is a modern concept in which an astrologer traces the roots of jyotish in Vedas and all its literature. Any rule of jyotish if found in agreement with Vedic knowledge gets its validation.

The following is the Rigvedic mantra concerning the mother, father, Prithvi or earth and Vyoma or sky:

Madhuno Dyava Prithvi Mimikshitam Madhushruchuta Madhu Dudhe

Madhuvrate. Dyoscha Prithvi ch pinvatam Pita Mata.

Source: Mantra: 6.70.5 - 6, Rigveda.

The Sanskrit word Prithvi existing in aforesaid Vedic mantra means the earth and Dyo stands for Vyoma or sky. The line Dyoscha Prithvi ch pinvatam Pita Mata’ clearly indicates that the sky is the father and the earth is the mother for all human beings.

In the first shloka Vedic muni called the house of father as Navam or the ninth house but while allotting the tenth house to father the great muni Parashara called the tenth house as Vyomsthana in the second shloka which means that he also directed us to follow the Rigvedic view about father.

In Vedic jyotish bhumi or land etc is judged from the fourth house and this fourth house also stands for the mother and the tenth house or Vyomsthana stands for the father only.

“Getting of Job by Jupiter’s Transit” - An article written by Vishal Aksh

Jupiter the extremely benefic planet roughly takes one year to transit a sign of 30° so its transit  becomes significant to time an event in Vedic jyotish. To judge a horoscope even in terms of getting a new job or promotion in job too the entire horoscope needs to be judged so no transit is sufficient exclusively.

The very first thing is to find a suitable antardasha in a mahadasha influencing the tenth house or tenth lord in a very positive way. Then that antardasha gives a new job to an unemployed person or promotion in job to an employed person. It is not at all easy to judge that.

  • Several times it becomes easy to find the mahadasha suitable to give professional prospects but difficulties occur in finding the suitable antardasha concerning it so in that case the Jupiter’s transit becomes significant to predict for a time to get a job.

  • When an antardasha of two or three years is found promising a job then Jupiter’s transit indicates the effective time to get a job.

In aforesaid conditions whenever Jupiter transit the signs given below an unemployed native gets a job or an employed native gets promotions:

  1. Jupiter transiting the exaltation sign of such a mahadasha lord or Jupiter aspecting the mahadasha lord in transit.

  2. Jupiter transiting the exaltation sign of such an antardasha lord or Jupiter aspecting the antardasha lord in transit.

If the Jupiter’s transit in the exaltation sign of dasha or antardasha lord as described above does not occur then Jupiter transiting the following signs can also give the job to an unemployed or career betterment to an employed native:

  1. Jupiter in transit aspecting the lord of tenth or transit over the lord of tenth house in transit.

  2. Jupiter in transit aspecting the tenth lord from Chandra lagna or transit over the tenth lord from Chandra lagna.

  3. Jupiter transiting the tenth house from Surya lagna or aspecting the tenth house from Surya lagna by its ninth or seventh aspect in transit.

  4. Jupiter transiting the tenth house from Janam lagna or aspecting tenth house from Janam lagna by its fifth, seventh or ninth aspect in transit.

There are several horoscopes which are powerful in terms of job and contains dhana yoga but the natives having such combinations belong to the families of average financial status or even below and the dasha or antardasha positively influencing tenth house does not occur in the formative years then the Jupiter transit gives them job in following conditions:

  1. When Sun is the tenth lord then Jupiter transiting the first, seventh or ninth house from Sun gives them a job or betterment in job.

  2. When Moon is the tenth lord then Jupiter transiting the second, fifth, seventh, ninth or eleventh house from Moon gives them a job or betterment in job.

  3. When Mars is the tenth lord then Jupiter transiting the first or seventh house from Mars gives them a job or betterment in job.

  4. When Mercury is the tenth lord then Jupiter transiting the first, fifth or ninth house from Mercury gives them a job or betterment in job.

  5. When Jupiter is the tenth lord then Jupiter transiting the first or seventh house from it gives them a job or betterment in job.

  6. When Venus is the tenth lord then Jupiter transiting the fifth or ninth house from Venus gives them a job or betterment in job.

  7. When Saturn is the fifth lord then Jupiter transiting the fifth house from Saturn gives them a job or betterment in job.

When mahadasha or antardasha of the lord of tenth house is in progress then the native can get a job when Jupiter transit the following signs provided no adverse combinations regarding profession or finances present in his horoscope:

  1. Jupiter transits the tenth house in the house owned by the mahadasha or antardasha lord.

  2. Jupiter aspects the dasha lord in transit.

“Natal Chart Vs Progressed Chart” - An article written by Vishal Aksh

Let me clear it first that whatever is being written by me concerning the strengths of natal and progressed horoscopes is totally based on my understanding and research in the field of Vedic jyotish. In India very rare astrologers respect progressed horoscopes.

Natal chart is a general term and it is also known as kundli, janmang, rashi chart or lagna chart in Vedic jyotish but progressed chart in Vedic jyotish is taken as Varshphala or annual horoscope. But here the word progressed horoscope is used as it is understood in western world.

Important notes to follow:

  1. I have developed progressions in Vedic jyotish too.

  2. The word progression used by me in just the previous note includes both the progressions forward as well as converse.

  3. The Vedic progressions developed by me include primary as well as the secondary progressions which are somewhat different from western progressions.

  4. My complete works on converse Vedic progressions or viloma pragman is available on social sites. I think no one except me is applying converse progressions nowadays.

  5. The basic concept of progression i.e. a day for a year is replaced by a degree for a year in my system so the horoscope erected at one degree movements both forward or converse in the longitude of the natal Sun, Moon or ascendant is considered a progressed horoscope by me. In this way the horoscope erected at one degree forward or backward motion given to Sun’s longitude at an annual rate, Moon’s longitude or ascendant’s longitude gives the picture of all the events likely to occur within the concerned sidereal year of 365.256363 days. Solar arc progressed Vedic horoscopes also give all the events occurring in a year of 365.256363 days.

  6. In the similarly way Vedic secondary progressed horoscopes erected by considering 1.5°, 1.25°, 1.111°, 1.875°, 2.5°, 2.7273°, 3°, 3.333°, 3.75°, 4.28571°, 5°, 6°, 7.5° and 10° for a year both forward and converse reflect the indications about spiritual attainments, knowledge & academy, strength & weakness, finances, comforts & assets, parents, profession, spouse, age, child or children, diseases, philosophical inclination, property & bhagya and siblings respectively. Vedic symbolically progressed horoscopes erected at these degrees also indicate the same as written in this paragraph.

  7. The western concept of a day for a year is not found in my experience in the field of Vedic jyotish and now it is found that western astrologers have also started disrespecting its use in western astrology.

  8. Primary directions are very complex in western astrology and nowadays no one is using this but I consider it as one degree forward or backward movement of ascendant for a year and horoscope erected at this degree. Roughly in four clock minutes ascendant moves one degree so if the standard life of 120 years is taken then in about four hundred  and eighty minutes or eight hours after or before the birth all the karmas of one’s life manifest. So the horoscopes erected after or before every four minute is taken as primary progressed Vedic horoscopes in my system. If one knows the birth time rectifications only he can use this effectively otherwise events will occur in a wrong year.

  9. Legendary astrologer Dr. B. V. Raman treated Varshphala or Vedic solar return charts as Vedic progressed horoscopes.

In fact a horoscope is not only the record of your previous overall karmas likely to operate in this life but also the source source of all the progressed horoscopes including solar returns horoscopes. A well versed and well experienced Vedic astrologer is able to predict every event from the judgement of the natal horoscope.

I am now giving my research about Vedic progressed horoscopes including Vedic solar return horoscopes below:

  1. Earlier described Vedic solar arc progressed horoscopes depend on vinshottri, ashtottri or kaal chakra dasha and in the absence of suitable dasha they become ineffective. Western astrologers consider tropical horoscopes in which dasha is not used so I think this is one of the reasons that this system is being disregarded in western astrological world.

  2. All the Vedic symbolic progressed horoscopes also depend on the suitable dasha operating in one’s natal horoscope.

  3. The secondary Vedic horoscopes as described before depend on one’s natal horoscope partly so care should be taken to read these charts.

  4. Vedic primary progressed horoscopes are always result giving and sometimes they even give results which are not clearly visible in one’s natal horoscope.

  5. The Vedic solar return horoscopes also depend on the suitable dasha to give their results.

“Shivalinga” – An article written by Vishal Aksh

I have not written any article on this topic but you can understand that the entire article is still in my mind. Sanatana gives you the right to think on Shivalinga and draw your own conclusions. I am sharing few tips in this context befitting the approaches of modern sciences below:

1] Linga stands for the zander and in Shivalinga the elevated cylindrical part indicates male's generative organ and the lower part indicates the female's generative part so it indicates the union between these two parts to result in the entire creation or Maithuni Shresthi. This applies to a small creature to the infinite universes.

2] Just expand your arm parallel to the ground and fold your four fingers and allow your thumb to stand vertically upwards and just see what you observe behind the thumb at this position and it is self-explanatory i.e. you will see the Shivalinga. Several Vedic granthas praise this Shivalinga to meditate to get the divine powers. Well I am not explaining the process here.

3] See the Yagya it is also a Shivalinga as its Vedi indicates the lower part and fire or agni indicates the upper part.

4] The circular disc of the Sun indicates the lower part of Linga whereas solar flames or Agni indicate the upper portion.

5] The first mantra of the world i.e. the very first mantra of Rigveda is dedicated to Agni which indicates Shiva.

6] In fact Shivalinga is a Sanatana technology to elevate mankind. Tanme manaha Shiva Sankalpa Mastu

According to Sanatana Darshana he was Shiva who created the infinite universes through his sentence, "Ekoham Bhusyaam" which means that Shiva is one but wanted to divide that clearly indicates that all the living and nonliving beings have the fraction of Shiva or everything from an atom to a universe contain the fractions of Shiva.

So 1] In body the fraction of Shiva is Aatma.

2] In the process of creation the part of Shiva is Brahm.

3] The unknown part of Shiva is Parbrahma. Basically in religions the known part i.e. the Brahm is praised with different approaches but in Sanatana the unknown part i.e. the Parbrahma is worshipped and praised. Knowing the unknown is an integral part of Sanatana which turns into inventions.

In short Shivalinga is the way to discover unknown

Will BJP Win Assembly Elections 2021 Of West Bengal?

  1. The lagna of BJP falls in the Navansh of Taurus ruled by Venus so Dwadashotti dasha is to be applied for predictive purposes.

  2. The Dwadashotti dasha calculated from lagna longitude has been taken into consideration for predictive purposes

  3. In this context the following are the details of Dwadashottri Dasha, Antara & Prytantra for the Dasha calculated from the longitude of lagna:

  4. From 17/03/2008 to 18/03/2027: Saturn’s dwadashottri Dasha

  5. From 02/08/2019 to 16/10/2021: Mercury’s Antar in Saturn’s dwadashottri dasha

  6. From 01/04/2021 to 22/05/2021: Sun’s Pryatantar in Mercury’s antar in Saturn’s dwadashottri dasha

  7. In Rashi Chakra Punney Saham, Mahatamya Sham & Shaastra Saham fall in ninth house in Aquarius ruled by Dwadashottri Dasha lord Saturn and the lagna lord Mercury also falls in Aquarius in conjunction with Indra Dhanush, Upaketu & Ketu so they enhance the quality of ninth house in terms of Hinduttva, National approaches, Mandir issue, Vasudhevkutumbhkam and Ramrajya etc. in Saturn’s dwadashottri dasha

  8. Ninth lord Saturn is in conjunction with tenth lord Jupiter is the Rajyayoga of highest order and the Samsaptak apectual relationship between the conjunction of Jupiter & Saturn as the conjunction of lords of tenth & ninth and Mercury the lord of Lagna gives Rajyoga and Bhagyayoga.

  9. So Saturn, Mercury & Jupiter from Rajyayoga & Bhagyayoga in BJP’s horoscope.

  10. Sun gets digbala by occupying tenth house in the sign owned by Jupiter

  11. So Saturn, Mercury & Sun forms Rajyayoga in BJP’s Rashi Chakra and Sun’s Pratyantar in Mercury’s Antar in Saturn’s Dasha is from 01/04/2021 to 22/05/2021 but Sun’s pratyantar needs further judgment to predict with accuracy and for that Dashmansh Chakra is used

  12. The Dashmansh lagna is Capricorn ruled by Dwadashottri Dasha lord Saturn and the Antar lord Mercury being the lord of sixth (Struggle & Voting) & Ninth (Bhagya & Constitution) occupies tenth house in conjunction with Jupiter the extremely benefic planet so the Antar of Mercury is in a Mood to give Rajyayoga to BJP at any time within a period starting from 02/08/2019 to 16/10/2021

  13. The entire process of west Bengal’s assembly election will happen mostly in Sun’s Prytantar from 01/04/2021 to 25/05/2021

  14. In Dashmansh Chakra Eighth house is occupied by two malefic planets Mars and Parivesh respectively and the lord of eighth the Pryatantar dasha lord Sun occupies sixth house forming Saral Yoga in Dashmansh Chakra and Saral Yoga gives successes in all works, defeat of all opponents and oppositions, purity of mind and fame.

  15. In terms of assembly elections likely to be held in west Bengal in 2021 this Saral Yoga present in Dashmansh Chakra gives the winning of assembly elections by defeating all the opponents and oppositions to BJP at any time within a period starting from 01/04/2021 to 25/05/2021.

  16. The Pryatantar lord Sun transits its exaltation sign Aries from 14/04/2021 at 02:24:22 (IST) to 14/05/2021 at 23:16:33 (IST) with a maximum of eight benefic point scores in its own Ashtakavarga so a remarkable success to BJP is almost confirmed at any time within this period in the assembly elections of west Bengal.
