Does Sun in Eighth House Really Mean Short life?

This is a precise query that every research minded Astrologer has in mind but in my opinion no such dictum is mentioned in Classical Vedic Jyotish as a rule such as Jupiter & Mercury in ascendant, Venus in twelfth and Sun & Mars in tenth are held auspicious.
What I mean to say that to check the longevity the entire horoscope is to be judged.

To arrive at an honest conclusion about Sun’s placement in eighth house it is necessary to understand the results given in various standard texts on Jyotish in the light of experience is essential. The following are three different ststements about Sun in eighth house from three legendry texts on Jyotisha:

Sun in Eighth House makes one fickle minded, a devotee of scholars, a sufferer of diseases, foreigner, nervous, a person who speaks too much, without fortunes, good conduct & bed pleasures, characterless and serves low people

Source: Maansagri, Chapter 2
Maansagri the famous text on Jyotish does not attribute Sun’s position in eighth house as condition of short life
Sun in Eighth House makes one to suffer loss of money, friends, short lived and of defective eye sight

Source: Phaladeepika, Chapter 8

Phaladeepika the other famous text on Jyotish attributes Sun’s position in eighth house as a condition of Short Life.
Sun in Eighth House in Aries gives painless death and in remaining signs it gives death on account of sorrows, pains and tortures

Source: Horaratnam Part (II), Chapter 7
Horaratnam the famous text on Jyotish speaks only about the nature of death when Sun’s position is in eighth house.

Conclusion: No text on Jyotisha except Phaladeepika attributes short life to a native having Sun in eighth house in his nativity.

The longevity of any person is well explained in Brihitparasharahorashaastram the ultimate text on Jyotish so concentrate on what is given below:

If the longevity is taken as per Vinshottri Dasha then:
  1. Long lifespan: 80 years to 120 years
  2. Middle lifespan: 40 years to 80 years
  3. Short lifespan: Birth to 40 years
If the longevity is taken as per Ashtottri Dasha then:
  1. Long lifespan: 72 years to 108 years
  2. Middle lifespan: 36 years to 72 years
  3. Short lifespan: Birth to 36 year
If the longevity is taken as Hundred Years (Vedic Lifespan) then:
  1. Long lifespan: 64 years to 96 years
  2. Middle lifespan: 32 years to 64 years
  3. Short lifespan: Birth to 32 years
Source: Brihitparasharahorashaastram
Nowadays a majority of person have not been seen to cross 100 years so we can easily take Vedic lifespan of 100 years to decide long lifespan, middle lifespan and Short Lifespan

In fact it is the Saturn the only Planet which decides the lifespan by increasing or decreasing it so when strong Saturn has influence of natural benefic planets such as Moon, Mercury, Jupiter or Venus then:
  • Long lifespan further confirms from 96 years to 100 years
  •  Middle lifespan jumps to long lifespan

  • Short lifespan jumps to middle lifespan

When weak Saturn has influence of natural malefic planets such as Sun, Mars, Rahu or Ketu then:
  • Long lifespan reverts back to middle lifespan
  • Middle lifespan reverts back to short lifespan
  • Short lifespan further confirms
In predicting age of a person the the intelligence of well versed Rishi or Muni fail then what anyone can think about the lifespan calculations done by ordinary astrologer

Source: Brihitparasharahorashaastram
Conclusion: Sun in Eighth House never results in short life and no one can predict about death a good astrologer can predict about misfortunes, accidents and diseases etc. with considerable accuracy.

“Fifth House In Navansh” - an article written by Vishal Aksh

The concept of Varga Kundli is well explained by Vedic muni Parashara in ancient text Brihit Parashara Hora Shaastram which is abbreviated nowadays as BPHS. The great muni Parashara asks astrologers to judge everything about one’s spouse by considering Navansh Chart

Thus the results attributed by Vedic muni Parashara for the fifth house of Rashi Chart will also apply to one’s spouse. Keeping muni Parashara’s wordings about fifth house in mind it can be said that;

The fifth house of Navansh Chart in one’s horoscope speaks about the intelligence, thinking pattern, skills, academy, progeny/children and tendency to chant mantra of one’s spouse
.

Note: The followings points should be taken into considerations while judging fifth house of Navansh Chart:

1. If the native is male then Navansh’s fifth house will be helpful to judge the pregnancy period and delivery of his wife. If the native is female then Navansh’s fifth house will be helpful to judge the period suitable for cohabitation with her husband resulting in child birth.

2. If fifth lord of Navansh Chart occupies first house especially in Virgo or Gemini signs and there it comes under the influence of Mercury then the spouse of native will be highly educated, intelligent, devotee and a true human.

3. If Navansh’s fifth lord is debilitated and afflicted in sixth, seventh or twelfth house in Navnsh Chart then in case of male native his wife suffers on account of repeated abortions and if the native is female then her husband suffers on account of health and behaviors of their children.

As the lord of a house in Rashi Chart is more important than the house ruled by it similarly Navansh’s fifth lord is more important than Navansh’s fifth house so to judge Navansh’s fifth house honestly the fifth lord of Navansh also needs to be judged

The following are the general results about the Nvansh’s fifth lord occupying various signs in Navansh Chart:

(i) In Aries the native’s spouse is bold and decorative and always tries to dominate her/him too

(ii) In Taurus the native’s spouse is polite, good speaking and loves ornaments or wearing costly cloths

(iii) In Gemini the native’s spouse always enjoys his company in a gathering, functions, restaurant and on bed at home

(iv) In Cancer the native’s spouse is emotional, always tries her/his best never to heart feelings of other and enjoys swimming or roaming on places near water such as bank of river/lake/sea/ocean.

(v) In Leo the native’s spouse is highly energetic, dominating, always speaks as if giving order to someone, likes to visit hills or hilly area and obeys her/his mother and even her/his mother-in-law

(vi) In Virgo the native’s spouse possesses qualities written for female in case of male native whereas in case of female native her husband will be shy

(vii) In Libra the native’s spouse will be business minded, a sufferer of depression and logical in her/his approaches

(viii) In Scorpio the native’s wife will have inclinations towards occultism, spiritualism, mysticism and she/he also has wonder ability to go into deep as her/his thinking level is concerned. Mentality of backbiting is not good but inventive one is good.

(ix) In Sagittarius the native’s spouse will be a devotee and possesses many good qualities on account of them she/he will be recognized as a role model in her/his circle, she/he regards them who regard her/him and she/he always remains in search to fulfill her/his goals.

(x)  In Capricorn the native’s spouse will be strong at mental & spiritual levels but almost an impostor as her/his religious duties are concerned.

(xi) In Aquarius the native’s spouse will be a humanitarian, intuitive, conceals her/his untoward thinking, not hesitates to hurt other and will have an eye on others wealth

(xii) In Pisces the native’s spouse will be fond of him/her, intellectual, scholar, always in a search to acquire knowledge and always remains grateful for a favor made for her/him.

Maansaagari the other great text on Jyotish speaks about judging about one’s children only from the Navansh’s fifth house.

Why Eight House Is House Of Longevity In Jyotish?

Preface

It was on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 23:32 (IST) I wrote a research oriented article titling, “The Legends Of Second House”……. and published it first on my website horoanalysis.wordpress.com on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 00:10 (IST) and after that it was also published on several other social sites. The present Article titling, “Why Eight House Is House Of Longevity In Jyotish?” is a smaller part from that Article which is rewritten here in a slightly different style. If anyone intends to view that article then follow the link: https://horoanalysis.wordpress.com/2018/06/27/the-legends-of-second-house-an-article-written-by-vishal-aksh/

***************

(i) Muni Parashar in Brihitparasharhorashaastra says that Eight House and its lord decide the Lifespan or in other words the Eight House is the house of Lifespan. But the reason is not cleared why that great Vedic Muni allotted Eight House as the House of Lifespan perhaps Vedic Muni Parashara wants from us to find reasoning behind it through our own intelligence.

(ii) To understand any branch of knowledge properly it is the reasoning which is essential. Several years ago in the year 1990 somewhere I have read that Second House is Marka as Seventh from Eight House (House of Lifespan) and Seventh House is Marka as it is Twelfth from (House of Loss) from Eight House (House of Lifespan) but at that time too I was convinced with this reasoning given by someone and contradicted it on the grounds of the then existing understandings of mine about Jyotish as mentioned in forthcoming paragraphs

(iii) My Understanding About Seventh House As Marka (Death Inflecting): I was of the opinion that when at the Time of Sunrise the Tropical Longitude of Sun and that of Tropical Rising Sign are same i.e. Sun at Eastern Horizon whereas at Sunset the Tropical Longitude of Sun  and that of Setting Sign are same i.e. Sun at Western Horizon then Sun being the Planet signifying Physical Body in this process of rising & setting indicates Birth & Death respectively and if the Sun is taken as Aatma it is for a living being and if Sun is taken as Solid body then it will be the existence and destruction of a non living body so in all the cases of living and non living Rising Sign indicates Birth and Setting Sign (Seventh House) indicates Death. This was the solid reasoning given by me on the basis of my common sense to understand why Seventh House was allotted as Marka (Death Inflecting House) in Vedic Jyotish.
Note: A larger part of Vedic Predictive Jyotish is based on Commom Sense.

(iv) My Understanding About Second House As Marka (Death Inflecting): Vedic Muni Parashara also says in Brihitparasharahorashaastra that Second House in a Horoscope also indicates Ratana which nowadays are considered as Navratana but in fact the word Ratna appeared in the very first Mantra of Rigveda in that a prayer has been made to Parmatma to get Ratna so I thought that the prayer could not be only to get Ratna or the reasonable meaning of Sanskrit word Ratna appering in Rigveda and Brihitprasharhorashaastra was somewhat else. In Vedic Literatures the word Ratna is generally used for types

1. Navaratna: These are well known precious stones associated with nine planets from Sun to Ketu

2. Fourteen Ratna: These appeared during great Samudra Manthana when Vedic Creation was going on.

(v) A deep research work on Second House in the light of those fourteen Ratna made a clear picture in my mind about the valid meaning of the Sanskrit word Ratna appearing in Brihitparasharahorashaastra and in the very first Mantra of Rigveda. The very first Ratna appeared in that great Samudra Manthan was Halala (Kaalkoot) and it was the greatest poison ever existed with an ability to destroy everthing including living and non living or even the entire creation and if this type of Halala (Kalkoot) comes under the judgment of Second House then Second House stands for Death inflecting or Marka House for all living and non living beings. Furthermore Second House is Fifth from Tenth house or in other words this Second House is an offspring of Tenth House appearing in every Horoscope. The Tenth House is also known as Nabha or Sky and this Nabha or Sky is also known as Shoonya is also considered as abode of great Sarpa in Vedic Literatures so being the offspring of Nabha (Sky) the Second House inherits Death inflicting effect and Jeevshooney (Merging of everything into space) from Sarpa residing in Nabha (Sky) and Nabha (Sky) so overall this reasoning given by me on the basis of my understandings about Vedic Literatures gave be the basis to understand the Death inflecting Powers of Second House.
Note: A part of Predictive Jyotish is also based on Vedic Literatures.

(vi) Reason Behind The Allotment Of Eight House As House Of Life: In foregoing paragraphs I have proved the Second House & Seventh House as Marka (Death Inflecting) through my valid reasoning and understanding of Vedic Jyotish and Vedic Literatures and Eight House is Second (Marka) from Seventh House and Seventh (Marka) from Second House and a Marka House to Two Extreme Marka Houses (Second & Seventh Houses) is a Marka Of Death or Longevity and thus Eight House is termed as House Of Longevity in Vedic Jyotish.

“Vrishbhanujaa (वृषभानुजा)” – an article written by Vishal Aksh

(1) The Sanskrit is a language which has the meaning of several Vyanjana like (K), ख (Kh), (G), (Ch), (J), (P), न (N), ज्ञ (Gya) where (K) means Who, ख (Kh) Sky, (G) Motion, (Ch) And, (J) Genesis, (P) Possessor or Owner, न (N) No and ज्ञ (Gya) Wise, Knowledgeable or Astrologer

(2) The Sanskrit Vyanjana (P) when comes in the end of several Sanskrit words indicates the Owner or Possessor of the creature represented by that Sanskrit word. See below

(i) Gop (गोप) where गो (Gau) means Cow and (P) means Owner or Possessor so Gop means Cowman or Milkman

(ii) Ajap(अजप) where अज (Aja) means Goat and (P) means so owner of Goats is known as Ajap(अजप)

(iii) Avip (अविप) where अवि (Avi) means Sheep and (P) means owner so owner of Sheep.

(iv) Mahip (महिप) where महि (Mahi) means Earth and (P) means owner so owner Earth i.e. a King

Note: Nowadays the owner of Goats or Sheep is known as Gadaria but in Vedic India the owner of Goat was known as Ajap and that of Sheep the Avip.

(3) The Sanskrit Vyanjana ज्ञ (Gya) when comes at the end of a Sanskrit word it indicates the Knowledge of the amount shown by that Sanskrit word. See below

(i) Alpagya (अल्पज्ञ) where अल्प (Alpa) means Little and ज्ञ (Gya) means knowledgeable so Little Knowledgeable is known as Alpagya (अल्पज्ञ)

(ii) Sarvagya (सर्वज्ञ) where सर्व (Sarv) means All ज्ञ (Gya) means knowledgeable so a man of All round Knowledge is known as Sarvagya (सर्वज्ञ).

(iii) Shaastragya (शास्त्रज्ञ) where शास्त्र (Shaastra) indicates Six Shaastra and ज्ञ (Gya) means knowledgeable so a man having knowledge of all the Six Shaastra is known as Shaastragya (शास्त्रज्ञ).

Note: *A person may be Alpagya (अल्पज्ञ) but no one except Parmatma can be Sarvagya (सर्वज्ञ) someone told me years before*
Note: *Jyotish is one of the Shaastra among Six Shaastra*.

(4) The Sanskrit Vyanjana (J) when comes at the end of any Sanskrit words then it indicates the genesis from the living or non living beings indicated by that Sanskrit word where (J) indicates Male and जा (Ja) indicates female births. See below:

(i) Pankaj (पंकज) where पंक (Pank) means Mud and (J) means appeared from Mud so it is Lotus so Lotus is known as Pankaj in Sanskrit.

(ii) Padmaj (पद्मज) where पद्म (Padm) is Lotus and (J) means appeared from Lotus so it is Brahma the Creator.

(iii) Vrishbhanujaa (वृषभानुजा) where it has three possible meanings when viewed from three angles but most of the people knew only two so the two common views are written below first. See below

(Jaa) that means genesis of a Female from वृषभानु (Vrishbhanu) or the Daughter of वृषभानु (Vrishbhanu) means Radha or Radhika.

(Anuja) that means the younger sister of a Bull. The younger sister of a Bull is cow but elder one is also a cow but Bull represents a fully grown up calf so its younger one will be She Calf thus वृषभानुजा (Vrishbhanujaa) indicates She Calf not a Milk giving Cow.

Note: It was around twenty four years ago on a fine day I was walking on a road and a group of Gurukul students was also walking on that road they were discussing about the Sanskrit word वृषभानुजा (Vrishbhanujaa) and its relationship with Shri Krishana. There was no Gurukula near that road and still there is not so I though they came here on a tour. I found their discussion about वृषभानुजा (Vrishbhanujaa) interesting and informative. The essence of their discussion was that Radha and Cows were related to Shri Krishana and still Shri Krishana resides in Goloka (Cow Land in Universe) with Radha. Nowadays several expert think like that and there is no harm in thinking so. Cow is considered as Mother figure in Hinduism but anyway I was not totally satisfied by their logic of relating Cow with Krishana by saying it वृषभानुजा (Vrishbhanujaa) but still I don’t deny this logic.

(3) But before producing my logic I would like to write few words as an etymology of Sanskrit word वृषभ (Vrishabh) which we nowadays known as Bull and second sign of Zodiac. In Veda the Parmatma is described as One and Rudra, Shiva, Agni, Indra and वृषभ (Vrishabh) are his names whereas in Purana they are different deities. In Purana वृषभ (Vrishabh) known as Nandi is the Bull of Parmatma Shiva. In following Vedic Mantra the Sanskrit word वृषभ (Vrishabh) appears:

The above Rig Vedic Mantra can be written in English script as:

Om Kva Esya Te Rudra! Mridyakurhasto Yo Asti Bhesjo Jalaashyo
Apbhart Rapso Deevyesyabhi Nu Ma
Vrishabh Chakshmeethah

(i) The meaning of aforesaid Rig Vedic Mantra is as follows:

O Rudra! Where is your famous hand? That hand removes all the diseases and thus makes us healthy this hand is always devoted to bless all peace and relief.

O Vrishabha! The symbol of fulfillment of all desires! Pardon all the human being by removing all the sins done by them under the influence of divine Maya and bless all the forgiveness.

Note: In aforesaid Vedic Mantra Vrishabha is adored for the removal of all the sins done knowingly or unknowingly and same Shri Krishana speaks as:

सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज।

अहं त्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः
[Sardharmaanparitayjya Maamekam Sharanam Vraj!
Aham Twaa Sarvpaapebhyo Moksyishyamaa Maa Shuchh!!]

Lord Shri Krishana says, Leave all the Dharma and come to my shelter. Do not worry!  I shall remove all of your sins

(ii) This is really insightful and connects Vedic Wisdom with Puranic Wisdom indicating that after the great worships of people towards वृषभ (Vrishabh) for the removal of their sins that lord appeared on earth as Shri Krishana. Shri Krishana was born in Vrish Rashi & Vrish Lagna clearly indicating him as Vedic Vrishabha Parmatma.

(iii) It was that time when there was no TV Channels other than Doordarshan and Doordarshan telecasted a short serial on Krishana. That was really a research oriented serial and in that it was clearly mentioned that the origination of the word Krishana is from the Sanskrit word Krishka which means a peasant and I found it valid as Balrama the elder brother of Krishana also known as Haldhar which mean a Plough Bearer and Haldhar Ji always held a Plough in his hand.

(iv) In ancient India a peasant had plough for ploughing the field and it was kept on the shoulders of the Bulls which means Bulls were the plough bearers so if Krishana was Krishaka then his elder brother Haldhar Ji also becomes the Bull or वृषभ (Vrishabh).

(v) Shri Krishana & Balram the two वृषभ (Vrishabh) had their younger sister named Subhadra so being the younger sister of वृषभ (Vrishabh) indicating Krishana and Balrama Subhadra also becomes वृषभानुजा (Vrishbhanujaa) who was also related to Shri Krishana.

Possible Reason Behind Allotment Of Unfair Results To Ardra Nakshatra Born

Preface

(i) As you all know that the Sixth Nakshatra is Ardra Nakshatra ruled by Rudra and Rudra is also known as Shiva. There are several who believe that the auspicious form of Parmatma id Shiva and his aggressive form is Rudra and it is the reason that person born in Ardra Nakshatra have been allotted unfair results in the texts on Vedic Jyotish like 1. Brihit Jataka 2. Horaratnam 3. Maansagri but how far is it true it will be discussed in this Article.

(ii) In श्वेताश्वेतारा उपनिषद (Shwetshwetaara Upnishada) Rudra is presented as only one Parmatma and Shiva is Rudra so the Ardra Nakshatra comes under the ownership of Rudra or Shiva. In Brihit Jataka the Ardra Nakshatra is called as Rudra Nakshatra whereas in Horaratnam this Ardra Nakshatra is called as Shiva Nakshatra and it will be further discussed in this Article

(iii) It always surprised me from three decades that not a single Astrologer raised this issue. Vedic Jyotish is based on either common sense or on Vedic Knowhow.

(iv) The Ardra means the water vapors and it is used as auspicious in Durgasaptshati where one of the qualities of Vedic Goddess Durga is Sarvoupkaarkarnaay Sadaardrachita i.e. her heart is always filled with water to do welfare of other and Durga is Parvati the Shakti of Shiva even though unfair results have been allotted to Ardra Born people in Vedic Jyotish. This will also be discussed in this Article.

***************

Chapter (I)
Ardra Nakshatra As Described In Brihit Jataka

(i) The following Figure show the concerned Sanskrit Shloka about Ardra Nakshatra

(ii) According to Varahamihira the Rudra Nakshatra (Ardra) Born are Shathgarvit, Ungrateful, Violent and Sinner.

Note: The Sanskrit Word Shathgarvit can be translated as a person who feels proud in displaying his wickedness.

(iii) Several of you can opine that the Raodra form of Rudra create destruction bur Swhetashwetasha Upnishada described only one Rudra who creates, operates and destructs the infinite Universes and thus this logic is not sufficient to allot unfair results to Ardra Born people

(iv) There are several who opine that the Ardra Nakshatra is ruled by Rahu so but it can be contradicted on the grounds that in Brihit Jataka neither Varahamihira mentioned Rahu nor Vinshottri Dasha.
Note: Brihit Jataka was written several centuries before the writing of Horaratnam and Maansagri.

***************

Chapter (II)
Ardra Nakshatra As Described In Horaratnam

(i) The following Figure show the concerned Sanskrit Shloka about Ardra Nakshatra as described in Horaratnam as Shiva Nakshatra:

(i) According to Horaratnam the person born in Shiva Nakshatra is skilled in Tantrik Kriya, Brave, expert in sale & purchase, torture cows, outrageous & ungrateful
Note: In aforesaid Sanskrit Shloka of Horaratnam person born in Shiva Nakshatra tortures the cows and it should be noted that Shiva likes his Bull so how can the people born in Shiva Nakshatra torture cows?

Note: The Vedic Jyotish text Horaratnam considers Rahu so it may be said that one born in Ardra can harm cows and other creatures. But Shiva wears the garland of Snake (Rahu) so how can Snake (Rahu) hurt his Bull (A member of Cow Family) so this logic is also inappropriate.

Note: The Cow Torturing described in Horaratnam should not take to its literal value. There are many sins described in Vedic Literatures equal to the sins coming out of torturing cows.

***************

 Chapter (III)
Ardra Nakshatra As Described In Maansagri

(i) The following Figure shows the concerned Sanskrit Shloka about Ardra Nakshatra in Vedic Jyotish text Maansagri:

(ii) The person born in Ardra Nakshatra is 1. Ungrateful 2. Angery 3. Sinner & Wicked and he is without wealth & food.

Note: In Vedic Jyotish text Maansagri the unfair results have been allotted to Ardra Born

***************

Chapter (IV)
Shiva The Pashupati

(i) In Vedic Literatures Shiva is also called Pashupati or the lord of Animals. The following Sanskrit Mantra from Linga Purana describes this:

(i) Starting from community of gods (Devta) ending to the community of ghosts (Pischaacha) all the communities coming in between are Animals (Pashu) and thus their owner (Pati) that supreme god Bhavh is remembered as Pashupati.

(ii) Indra (King of Devas) has a definite life and he also commits sins equivalent to those of torturing the cows. He always tries to maintain his empire by playing dirty politics so the superior community also acts like Animal (Pashu) and now you can also imagine for other communities (Yonis)

(iii) Thus keeping this in view Varahamihira allotted unfair resultsto Ardra Born.

“The Uniqueness Of Ashtottri Dasha” – an article written by Vishal Aksh

"अष्टोत्तरी द्विधा प्रोक्ता शिवाद्या कृतिकादितः॥२३॥"
- (बृहत्पाराशरहोराशास्त्रम्)

“Ashtottri Dwividha Proktaa Shivaadyaa Kritikaadita !!23!!”
-(From Brhatpaarasharhorashaastram)

(Ashtottri) = The Ashtorri Dasha

(Dwividha) = Two Types

(Proktaa) = Said

(Shivaadyaa): Starting from Shiva but here Ardra Nakshatra ruled by Shiva

(Kritikaadita ) = Starting from Kritika Nakshatra

Simple Meaning: The two types of Ashtottri Dasha are said to be calculated (1) starting from Ardra Nakshatra and (2) Kritika Nakshatra respectively

This is the uniqueness of Ashtottri Dasha which makes it differ from other Nakshatra Grahdasha. No other Nakshatra Grahdasha is said to be calculated in this way.

Note: If someone is born in Ardra Nakshatra his Ashtottri Dash at his birth commences from Sun from one way and if one has his Nakshatra Kritika his Ashtottri Dasha at birth commences from Sun according to second way.

Note: This Ashtottri Dasha of both types can be applied to cross verify the event and thus very much helpful in predictions and astrologically rectifying one’s time of birth.

Note: Astrologers should use this Dasha with serious approaches. As far as my experience of more than thirty years in the field of Vedic Jyotish concerns the Ardradi Ashtottri Dasha yields somewhat better results as compared to Kritikaadi Dasha.

“Apamritu Saham” – an article written by Vishal Aksh

Apamritu Saham is nowhere mentioned in Tajikneelkanthi though there are several Astrologers who use it but anyhow it is found effective

All the accidental deaths or untimely deaths are astrologically indicated by this Apamritu Saham.

The Mathematical Calculations for this Apamritu Saham is same for Day/Night and the Formula is as below:

Apamritu Saham = (Sidereal Longitude Of Eight Bhava Madhya – Longitude Of Mars)⁰ + Longitude Of Lagna⁰

In short,

Apamritu Saham = (VIII - Mars) + Lagna

Note: …… Add 30⁰ if Longitude of Eight Bhava Madhya does not come within the path starting from the Longitude of Mars to the Longitude of Lagna

The Apamritu Saham is applicable in Mundane Charts, Dasha Pravesh Horoscopes, Transitory Horoscopes, Vedic Annual Horoscopes (Varshphala) and Vedic Horary Horoscopes (Prashan Kundli)
