Karmic Base Of Vedic Jyotish

Part (A)
कर्म & गणित (Karma & Mathematics)
(This article was written by me on Monday, August 19, 2013 on the timeline of my facebook and following is the link for this post:

It is a thought and thought comes suddenly in mind. Some time it may be of comparative nature. It is bounds to give result. It is imaginative, inventive, intuitive & ingenious. It entirely depends on the purity of heart but appears in mind and easily combines with understanding to complete its action. Thus it is purely a mental action without intention.

Once on a very fine day, while thinking on the theory of कर्म (Karma) a thought appeared in my mind. At that time I found myself on the junction of conscious & sub conscious state of my mind. For a moment I found myself very near to that thought. That thought fascinated me and I forgot about what was happening nearby at that time.

It was the influence of that thought that put me to hear my inner voice. That inner voice gave a wonderful point & clue. The point was if all कर्म (Karma) are put into an account & if there is an account then there should be गणित (Maths). Which means कर्म (Karma) & गणित (Maths) must have some relationship.
And the clue was to put the theory of कर्म (Karma) in the format of गणित (Maths). The process as follows: -

कर्म (Karma)  = Physical actions + Verbal actions + Mental actions

Where physical actions = all the actions such as walking, jumping, exercising, etc. which are performed by body. These actions represent self.

Verbal actions = all the actions performed while speaking such as speaking the truth, speaking that truth which is not harmful to society, to keep promises & commitments, etc.

Mental actions = All the actions performed by mind such as solving the problems by the use of brain, thinking about the welfare of others, thinking about प्रकृति (Prakriti) & पुरुष (Purusha), doing मंत्रजप (Mantrajapa), meditation, etc

Suppose in above equation put verbal actions & mental actions = 0. Then above equation becomes:
कर्म (Karma)  = physical actions + 0 + 0 = physical actions
कर्म (Karma)  = physical actions.

The persons performing only physical actions as their कर्म (Karma) are only after physical charm and because of lack of other two actions they become greedy about money. Such types of person are Inferior person.

Putting mental actions = 0 in above equation. Then the above equation becomes: -
कर्म (Karma)  = Physical actions + Verbal actions + 0
Or कर्म (Karma) = Physical actions + Verbal actions
The person performing these two actions as their कर्म (Karma) are truthful, like purity, keeps promises & commitments. Because of physical actions they also want money but they are not greedy. Verbal actions do not much influence physical actions so they have value for money. As a result of these two actions they progress towards third actions and thus these types of person also give value to respect. These types of person are ordinary person.

The people performing all of three actions are superior person such as intellectuals, legends, Guru and कर्मयोगी (Karmayogi). They only want respect as if respect is their wealth.

Further more in the above equation: verbal actions > physical actions
& mental actions > > (physical actions + verbal actions) or in words mental actions are more than thousands times greater than the sum of physical actions & verbal actions. So (physical actions + verbal actions) may be rejected then the above equation becomes: -

कर्म (Karma)  = Mental actions

Hence everyone should perform mental actions for some times a day for enlightenment. Perhaps the thought showed its results. Never over look your thoughts.

Part (B)
How To Judge भाग्य (Bhaghya)
(This article was written by me on Sunday, August 18, 2013 on the timeline of my facebook and following is the link for this post:

For an astrologer it is essential to judge the भाग्य (Bhagya) of his client. No prediction can be true in full measure without the judgment of कर्म (Karma) that is why most of the times predictions made by astrologers about his clients fail. A person approaches the astrologer to know about his भाग्य (Bhagya).

This term भाग्य (Bhagya) is somewhat controversial. Some take it as the results of कर्म (Karma)   performed by any one in his previous birth there are some who consider it as a result of कर्म (Karma) performed in this present life. Any how one thing is clear that भाग्य (Bhagya) depends on कर्म (Karma).

Horoscope of any person reveals the good or bad results one is likely to have in this life on account of कर्म (Karma) performed by him in his previous birth. These results one is likely to have in this life on account of कर्म (Karma) performed by him in his previous birth are known as प्रारब्ध (Prarabdh) or दैव (Deav).

But on the other hand a person also performs कर्म (Karma) in this life a major portion of which become the प्रारब्ध (Prarabdh) for his next birth and a portion of his performed कर्म (Karma) of this life give the result in this life. This is nothing but क्रियमण कर्म (Kriyamaana Karma) or पौरुष (Paurush).

Now the term भाग्य (Bhagya) is clearly defined as the sum of दैव (Deav) & पौरुष (Paurush).
भाग्य (Bhagya)  = दैव (Deav)  + पौरुष (Paurush)
Hence भाग्य (Bhagya) depends on the कर्म (Karma) performed in previous birth and the कर्म (Karma) performed in this birth.

As I have mentioned earlier in this article that a horoscope reveals the दैव (Deav) but to know the exact भाग्य (Bhagya) knowledge of पौरुष (Paurush) is essential. Without the knowledge of पौरुष (Paurush) the भाग्य (Bhagya) in its true sense cannot be predicted & thus predictions are not fulfilled in full measures or even totally fail.

A person approaches an astrologer to know about his भाग्य (Bhagya) so there must be some connection between his horoscope & the time at which he asks question before an astrologer. The horoscope made at the time of question is horary horoscope or प्रश्न कुण्डली (Prashana Kundli).

It is from the deep analysis of natal horoscope along with horary horoscope the भाग्य (Bhagya) of a person can be predicted. It is from horary horoscope astrologer can judge weather his client is having the results of दैव (Deav) or पौरुष (Paurush). There may be three possibilities while comparing both horoscopes. They are as follows: -

(1)                        When natal horoscope shows good results & horary horoscope shows adverse results then it is to decide that the person is getting the results of his bad कर्म (Karma) done by him in this life. In this case if the astrologer predicts good then his prediction fails.

(2)                        When natal horoscope shows bad results & horary horoscope shows benefic results then it is to decide that the person is getting the results of his good कर्म (Karma) done by him in this life. In this case if the astrologer predicts bad then his prediction proves wrong again.

(3)                        When natal horoscope & horary horoscope indicate similar results either good or bad then it is to decide that the person is getting the results of the कर्म (Karma)  done by him in his previous life. In this case the prediction made by astrologer about his client comes true in full measures.

Part (C)
When Remedies Should Be Prescribed?

(1)             Nowadays it is seen many Vedic astrologer instead of analyzing horoscopes recommends a lot of remedies even though they are not required. This is not good.

(2)             When there are conditions as described under (1) & (2) of Part (B) of this article only then remedies should be recommended otherwise not. In case of perfect adverse results in any horoscope the prescribed remedies will not be performed by the person concerned.

(3)             Mnatrajapa is the best remedy in this Kaliyuga and it comes under mental actions as described in the Part (A) of this post.
